ReportCD recognizes archives in ZIP, RAR, ACE,... formats and handles them as folders : you can view the list
of files contained in the archive. Files compressed inside archives can be
viewed or launched with associated program with one click !

| Automatic thumbnails and description importing. ReportCD imports
thumbnails of a various type of graphical files while media is being scanned
(JPG, BMP, TIF, GIF, PNG, WMF, ICO, EXE, MP3 ...) and support file description
importing (like MP3 file information). By selecting a file in the catalog,
you can easily see a preview of this file and its description. You can also see
thumbnails of files contained in a compressed file (i.e in zip files).

Supports Audio CD : Extracts CD-TEXT information, connect to CDDB/freedb server
in order to get tracks properties (singer, title, length,...). ReportCD can also automatically add
CD Audio tracks in the database when scanning Audio CD (extracts properties & audio sample).

Manage Loans & borrower list. ReportCD can be used
to organize multiple loans from all the collections (movies, DVD, games, books, ...)

| Plugin architecture. ReportCD is designed to use registered plugins
during media scanning. These plugins can be thumbnail plugin, description
plugin and archive plugin (for compressed files). You can develop your own
plugin to handle additional types and files ReportCD doesn't handle yet at this
time.

in XML format with optional support of a custom stylesheet in order to
